The ruined town was cold and windy, and the night was as dark as ever. Survivors from the Wellspring stood dazed, breathing in the scent of sulfur. The long dead of this town blew away, finally dust, leaving them alone with their thoughts.
Few words were exchanged as they traveled through valleys, past ruined settlements, until they found an old railway. By some miracle the last derelict train on the track still ran, and with the strength to plow its way through the snow it carried the travelers toward some sort of distant home.
Ash watched from the last car of the train as mountains sank behind them. They could discern that the once full moon had waned, just slightly, and it seemed to their tired eyes like there might be some glow over the hills... Like the Zodiacal Dawn seen at midnight, too weak to be sure...

This is the first Wolfgun album I came across, years after its release. I thought it was in my collection already, but somehow it wasn't, so I wanted to fix that. I don't know what to say besides thank you; your music makes me feel like an interstellar explorer and fills my hear with wonder. It's given me a lot of joy over the years. softwarepaws
