1ore This album is my introduction to half/moon, and *wow* the time elapsed between listening and purchasing is a new record for me. Feel like I'm lost in an ash-dusted woods, and splinter factions of fungus-encrusted cyborgs are acting out dramas beyond the scope of my understanding. What a journey and a treasure this album is-- Thank you! Favorite track: Days and Nights.

Far away on the other side the Sun is setting for the first time Here beneath this arm, the sun is only now beginning to shine. Far away in another time the Sun will burn away our kind When it leaves the Earth darkness hides the hurt He leaves behind.

He's seen in orchards, gardens and fields No one will whisper his name A step, a crack, your footprint he feels And then nothing is the same He's heard on winds that smile and sing On nights, they whisper his name You'll hear that smiling voice from within And then nothing is the same He's seen on nights when Galaxies shine Beware! Don't whisper his name You'll only feel a turning inside And then nothing is the same...

There is a city Where the towers rise like mountains But nobody walks within them I am alone, but I know Every road has led me to this place And I'll leave my death behind to face The Veil! There is a forest On the far side of the small stone wall Where the souls of the lost and the dead are doomed to fall There was a time when the grave was ruled by the light of day But now the forest is a place where the dark and the shadows reign There is a hole Inside my chest And on a moonlit summer night A voice from deep inside it said: "Tear the Veil You hear my call" My lonely hands destroyed it all And now I've fled across the wall There is a forest where the light has come again Hope will walk among the dead as the fires begin to grow As it changes I know I'm changing too I'm becoming something new My skin begins to glow Whatever I am today, I won't be tomorrow! There is a city at the center of the world hidden by the trees Where the trains run through the night but Nobody can say where they lead And the windows have been darkened while it's waited to see human life Yeah, this city has been waiting for a soul to come and turn on the lights There is a hole Inside my chest And on a lonely summer night A voice from far beyond it said: "You will grow your Galaxy" My eyes that pierce the Veil can see The one to fill that hole is me There is a city Where the lights are turning on and the rails stretch far beyond to a world I've never known And if I go, I know there's no return My body starts to burn and I vanish into smoke Whatever I am today, I won't be tomorrow!

about

Many believe in an axis which binds one world to another. The grave, they say, touches all worlds. In truth, there are many axes, and one nearly as far-reaching. At the center of every world it can be seen: a city, once peopled by demons, though they did not build it. Rather, it was never built. It simply was. Now, abandoned, it serves as a waystation, a nexus that can guide a lost soul to another world,

If they can find it...
