"I'm sure it was a really busy road once, where I stood. No one except us went that way anymore now, of course. I remember... I stood there, when we were out looking for fresh fallen wood to burn...
I looked out where the mountains weren't quite so tall and there it stood. A huge and dark stone... Even in the dark, it was a shadow against a soft landscape. Snow would not settle on its surface... Its feeders reached out like arms, somewhere off to my left and right, but hidden by dense pines...
The chatter of my traveling companions seemed to grow quiet. Indeed, I don't think they even saw it... I stood there, engrossed by its shape... It seemed to call to me. Its voice was the wind, whipping my layered coats and cloaks and pulling me toward it...
The woods were silent, and ahead of me towered a baleful monolith... A huge and dark stone..."
Ash and Felix walked together in the woods near a small quarry where their traveling group had set up camp. The gaze of the full moon penetrated only a few gaps in the dense trees here, so they had to walk by candlelight.
Ash told Felix of a dream that lingered still in their mind. As he listened, Felix's demeanor changed. Hope, then immeasurable sorrow filled his expression. He urged Ash to strike the tattoo from their wrist, that there was still time for the corpse to save themself, but Ash refused. The warrior's face was pained with indecision as his hand involuntarily reached for his hammer, but before anything could come of it, both were interrupted by a raucous shriek.
lyrics
Moonlight and starshine
The vacant space
Earth-like and hollow
Pale, bright and waning
Opposing motion
So, we grow...
And those who
see
and feel it
don't know its name
yet
call
it
DIVINE!
This is the first Wolfgun album I came across, years after its release. I thought it was in my collection already, but somehow it wasn't, so I wanted to fix that. I don't know what to say besides thank you; your music makes me feel like an interstellar explorer and fills my hear with wonder. It's given me a lot of joy over the years. softwarepaws
